TimeTableGenerator is an independently owned and maintained web tool created by Esakkiappan. Our goal is simple: help teachers, schools, tutors, and learners build practical schedules with less manual work.
What TimeTableGenerator does
Building a balanced timetable often means juggling working days, lesson lengths, lunch breaks, weekly subject targets, teacher details, laboratory sessions, and activity periods. TimeTableGenerator brings those details into one focused workspace.
Users can set up a school week, add subjects and teachers, generate a balanced timetable, make manual edits, and export the result as a PNG or PDF or print it directly. The optional AI assistant can interpret additional planning instructions and propose a revised schedule.
Why we built it
Timetable planning should not require complicated software or endless spreadsheet adjustments. This project was created to make the first draft faster while keeping the user in control of the final result.
The tool is designed around three principles:
- Useful: practical controls for the details that matter in a real weekly schedule.
- Editable: generated output is a starting point, not a locked answer.
- Accessible: a responsive browser experience with local saving, dark mode, printing, and common export formats.
Independent ownership
TimeTableGenerator is independently created, owned, operated, and maintained by Esakkiappan. It is not an official product of a school, education board, government agency, Google, B AI, or GitHub. References to third-party services describe technologies used by or linked from the site and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
Advertising may be used to help cover hosting, development, and maintenance costs while keeping the core tool freely accessible.
Our approach to responsible use
A generated timetable should always be reviewed by a person who understands the school’s actual constraints. We encourage users to verify lesson totals, teacher availability, breaks, special facilities, accessibility needs, and local rules before publishing a schedule.
We also ask users not to enter sensitive or identifiable student information. Most standard tool data is saved in the browser, while details used with the AI feature are processed to answer the user’s request. More information is available in our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
